About New Zealand Skills Connect
NZ Skills Connect is an educational institute and overseas education consultancy based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We help internationally qualified nurses through every step, from IQN theory and OSCE training to CGFNS, NZ registration, ANMAC/AHPRA processing and visa support. Close to 1,500 nurses have trained with us, and around 20 complete their registration every week.
Felix Rexy – Founder
Felix Rexy has spent over 10 years in New Zealand healthcare. He started on hospital wards caring for patients, then moved into teaching and mentoring, training new healthcare professionals and guiding overseas nurses through their assessments.
He knows from experience that internationally qualified nurses rarely lack skill. What they lack is someone who shows them how New Zealand healthcare really works. That belief shapes everything at NZSC: practical training, honest guidance and support that doesn’t stop at the exam.
Our Story
NZ Skills Connect began by mentoring overseas nurses through the Competency Assessment Programme (CAP). Capable nurses kept struggling with things nobody had explained to them: workplace routines, team communication, documentation styles and unfamiliar exam formats. We made it our work to close that gap.
When the Nursing Council replaced CAP with the OSCE, we rebuilt our training around the new exam and expanded beyond it. Today NZSC is an educational institute and overseas education consultancy. We cover IQN and OSCE training, CGFNS, NCNZ, ANMAC and AHPRA processing, visa support, and job placement in New Zealand and Australia.
Close to 1,500 nurses have trained with us, and around 20 complete their registration every week.
